Indexing Records

When you make changes to objects in Metadata Hopper, those changes will not be automatically reflected in your preview or public sites. Instead you will have to use the "Index Modified Records" button available on the Overview page.

Changes that you will need to index for include:

• Adding a tag
• Removing a tag
• Adding a connection
• Deleting a connection
• Changing the name of an object

Once you have made changes to any records, the "Index Modified Records" button will appear on your Overview page. Press it once to index all changed records.

Please be aware that the indexing process may take some time. You will receive a notification email when the process is complete

Please also be aware that indexing changed records will not change the state of your objects. This means that objects that are only previewed will not be published and vice versa.
