Deleting an object

Records can be deleted from a number of different pages. This includes:

• Browse by original metadata
• Object record page.

The button for deleting records is red with a “Delete” label on it. When you choose to delete one or many records, you will be taken to a delete confirmation page that lists all objects you have selected to delete. Use the delete records button to delete the records and the cancel button if you no longer wish to delete items.

Selecting to delete an object that exists in multiple contexts will only delete the object in that context. It will still exist to be used in other contexts. If the object only exists in one context, it will be removed from the system.
