Connect

Connect allows you to show that different distinct object are from the same collection by connecting one object to another. For example, you can use the Connect feature to show that certain images originally from a certain collection by connecting the images to the EAD file for the archival collection

You can find the connect objects feature in several ways:

• Through the main Connect page
• Through the list of objects accessed through the Browse page
• Through a list of search results
• Through the Connections tab on the Object Record Page

The connection of objects is expressed as a parent-child relationship. When creating connections, you must first select a parent object and then the child objects you wish to connect.

Connections can be removed through the Connections tab on the Object Record page.
